IMPORTANT: Requirement for All Volunteers to be Police Vetted

To All Volunteers of our chaplaincy,


To be able to continue to serve in the Chaplaincy, the Catholic Diocese of Auckland now requires all Volunteers (paid or unpaid) to be police vetted.


Required Volunteer groups and committees that are required to be police vetted are as follows

  • ACFC Leadership Team

  • Ministers of Communion

  • Ministers of the Word

  • Children's Liturgy

  • Sacristans

  • Members of the Service and Outreach Work.

  • Hospitality.

  • Social Media and Communications.

  • Any committees, groups, communities that are giving outreach work, especially on children, and persons with disabilities.

You are required to submit two forms of identification with your Consent and Request form (available for download below). For more information on forms of Identification Required, can be found on the NZ Police Website.


Please get these forms filled out, with your chosen identification items, by emailing to info@acfc-catholic.org.nz by midnight of Thursday 29th June 2023.
