No USB Sticks (or External Hard Drives) for Tech Desk

Greetings everyone,

Please be advised that the Technology AV Team will be prohibiting the use of USB sticks or external hard drives. This policy will be strictly enforced, as it will prevent cyber-related incidents (such as hacking, viruses, and data breaches) and protect ACFC and personally owned laptops and other devices.

The Technology AV Team has the right to refuse content entirely, or to instruct that certain content be emailed to technology.av@acfc-catholic.org.nz. Groups (choirs and devotional groups) and individuals are encouraged to coordinate with the Technology AV Team days in advance, not the night before.

Some points to remember:

• Groups or individuals are welcome and encouraged to bring their own devices to be connected to the screens.
• Choir groups are advised to download copies of the PowerPoint templates from the News page on this website, and are encouraged to operate their own PowerPoint slides for the songs.
• Groups or individuals requesting to display other content on the screens (such as event posters or videos) are to email it days in advance. Some content, such as event posters or videos, is subject to approval from the Liturgy and Technology Coordinator and/or the chaplain.
